Miss Ploff is a cozy café near Gesundbrunnen serving vegan breakfast, sandwiches/toasties, cakes, and smoothies.
Miss Ploff in Wedding (close to Mitte) is a somewhat hidden coffee place in between Gesundbrunnen and Bornholmer Straße.
Besides great coffee, there is a wide range of food – from sandwiches to soups and cakes. Vegan dishes include a vegan sandwich with dried tomato, pesto and walnuts, a vegan breakfast including bread, fruit, salad, hummus and dips and, depending on availability, soup and other lunch specials.
All smoothies are homemade and can be prepared vegan – ask for it (it’s worth it!). For non-vegans, they also serve quiche or lasagne as daily specials in addition to several cakes. They usually have at least one or two vegan cakes as well as raw and gluten-free cookies, energy balls or cake.
Inside you can find books, board games (scrabble, monopoly) and toys for the little ones. In summer there are about 10-20 seats outside, inside 25 to 30 people can find a place. It’s a lovely place decorated with vintage household items, crockery, and letters – some of which are available for sale.
They just recently introduced a 15% discount for all students and apprentices with a valid ID. There is also a bonus card for a free piece of cake (every 10th piece).
We recommend a piece of vegan cake (maybe they have the chocolate avocado one) and a coffee.
We last visited “Miss Ploff” in January 2018.
