Meyan – Süßholz

Meyan Süßholz is a restaurant with mediterranean brunch and a cozy atmosphere with delicious vegetarian and vegan options.

Most dishes on the menu are vegetarian with several vegan options. The mediterranian brunch plate is very rich and delicious with homemade pastes, couscous, cooked vegetables and olives. There is a small and a big version of the vegan mediterranean brunch plate. The small one is big enough for most people. There are also several warm dishes on the menu, such as vegetable plate and filled bell pepper – just make sure you mention that you want to have the vegan version.

Please note, that the bread – although freshly baked – is not 100% vegan (also mentioned in their menu).

The food is served in meditarrenean dishes that can also be purchased in the café, giving the location a nice and unique feel.

Despite a few vegan flaws (non-vegan bread and extra charge for soy milk) which is why we gave a 4-star-rating instead of 5 stars, we can highly recommend this location for a mediterranean brunch as the food is fresh and homemade with love. Also, the location has a really nice atmosphere. It stands out from many of the “hot and hip” new vegan food places as it is an authentic mediterranian cafè. Also your non-vegan friends will be very happy here.

It is a perfect location for a long and relaxed Sunday morning mediterranean brunch with friends. The owners of the café do a lot by themselves, giving it a personal and familiar touch.

We recommend the breakfast/brunch.
