Recognizable by an anchor-logo, the café draws its décor and ambience from the sea and its surroundings. Outside you can find a canopied beach chair, inside numerous items the common sailor would take for granted.
The menu offers a wide variety of vegan-friendly dishes including Belgium waffles, cakes, smoothies as well as a daily soup and salads. Moreover there are numerous breakfast options such as croissants, hummus plates or muesli. Additionally, the café offers a number of homemade spreads and hummus dishes (eggplant hummus, olive-basil-hummus) on top of organic bread.
Non-vegans can enjoy cheese and egg options.

The guests consist of all kinds of people – from older folks enjoying the many sea-related accessories to young tourists and Berliners looking for plant-based food and drinks. There are some regulars, coming in to make use of the free Wi-Fi and the affordable prices.
The music is subdued, lights are modern and dimmed. Dishes are ususally prepared and served by the owner herself, creating a friendly atmosphere.

We recommend a vegan croissant together with a hot chocolate with cream or a breakfast platter.
We visited Cafe Neue Liebe in October 2018.
