All donuts are homemade and baked fresh every day and usually sold out by the end of the day. They usually have some gluten-free options available. There are countless varieties from chocolate peanut fudge, cinnamon sugar, maple smoked coconut, nougat, berry, banana peanut fudge and many others. Quite recently they added filled donuts – either with custard or marmalade.

Besides other sweet treats such as waffles or french toast, Brammibal’s also offers a breakfast bowl, a daily changing lunch bowl, granola and a grilled cheese sandwich. Of course also 100% vegan. ***UPDATE (01/2018): Brammibal’s has reduced its menu and is now primarily serving donuts and sandwiches including grilled cheese and a BLT. Other sweet dishes or lunch options are not on their current menu. ***

Coffee and other drinks are by default prepared using oat milk. The café’s popularity stems from years of selling donuts on various weekly and seasonal markets such as Markthalle Neun or the Green Market Berlin. A couple of years ago, they also started their own crowdfunding campaign.

The café is a hip location usually filled with young people looking for a treat. The music inside is chilled, varying between Hip-hop, Indie, and Electro.

There are about 50-60 seats inside and 10-15 outside, depending on the weather. Opposite the café, there is Maybachufer – a great place to sit down with a donut and stare down at the water.

We recommend to sit outside if the weather allows it, eat a donut (no matter which one) and a BLT sandwich.
