Café Neundrei is centrally-located cosy coffee place offering a large vegan-friendly menu.

Almost everything here is prepared vegan. Food choices range from peanut butter cookies, cakes, bowls, sandwiches to the daily soup. There are also some gluten-free options available. If you get there early try one of the breakfast choices such as the acai bowl.
For a quick lunch Neundrei offers a daily soup, sandwiches and a number of salads (quinoa & lentils) in the fridge. It is a popular place for employees to stop by for coffee at the end of their lunch break.

As it is located centrally between Monbijoupark and Hackescher Markt, you can find the occasional tourist here in addition to students and freelancers working from downstairs.
Inside there are about 30 to 40 seats separated in the upstairs area which consists of the counter and a bar area at the window, and the downstairs area equipped with a sofa and a large table.
In summer, there are chairs and tables outside to watch passing pedestrians. The area, even though centrally located, is relatively quiet and good to relax.

We recommend the “Breakfast” and “Muscle Maker”-smoothies with a piece of fresh cake (and coffee, obviously). Afterwards take a stroll through Monbijoupark.
We visited Cafe Neundrei in June 2018.
